Abstinence is something that is very important to Christians. You are going to need to make sure that the person that you are with is somebody that believes in this too. It can be easy for another person to say that they are abstinent or will be abstinent with you. However, if they do not practice regularly, then it can be a lot more difficult later on.
Dating Other Christians
It is usually a good idea for you to date other Christians if you yourself are a Christian. This is something that can make things a lot less complicated down the road. You will not have to worry about a non Christian trying to manipulate you into doing anything that you should not do as a Christian.
Level Of Commitment
It is important that the other Christian that you date has the same type of commitment that you do to God. You will need to talk to this person about their religious habits so that you will know whether or not you are both on the same page. Somebody that is more serious with their religion and beliefs may not want to date another Christian that is not as serious about their religious beliefs.
